The Events Team is an integral part of the Student Recruitment and Marketing service, delivering a dynamic and engaging event programme that aligns with the University's strategy and highlights its values and achievements. Our events range from corporate and recruitment activities to graduations, welcome and registration sessions, career fairs, alumni events, degree shows, and research-focused events.
This role will primarily focus on the recruitment events portfolio, which includes but is not limited to undergraduate and postgraduate open days; offer holder days, selection events, taster days, higher education fairs, campus visits etc to support the University to meet its student recruitment and widening access targets. In addition to your portfolio, you will collaborate with the wider Events Team, assisting with event planning and delivery across other areas when necessary.
To excel in this role, you will bring a broad range of event management experience, combined with an impeccable attention to detail when it comes to planning and execution. You are a creative problem solver, able to develop innovative ideas and turn them into successful events.
You will work with the Recruitment Event Manager and wider team to ensure that our events meet the needs of our audience and support university recruitment targets. You will have experience of working with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that every event is seamlessly delivered. You will use processes and documents to plan the logistics of our recruitment events and our attendance at various HE fairs.
With an understanding of digital platforms and communications, you'll use various channels and systems to manage your workload and keep your stakeholders on track.
As part of this role you will also support the recruitment and training of student ambassadors and supervise ambassadors and event staff at events.
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.

This is a full-time, permanent post working 37 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
This role is campus based for 3 days per week with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
