Digital Content Editor

Shape the University’s Digital Future 
 

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Content Editor to join our Web Evolution Programme and help create compelling, user-focused digital experiences for diverse audiences – from prospective students to global industry leaders. 

As a key member of the team, you’ll take ownership of significant sections of our main website, crafting engaging content that meets both user and business needs. You’ll write and edit high-quality copy, select imagery, and build pages using our CMS, CMP and DAM, ensuring content is optimised for SEO, accessibility, and user experience. 

What you’ll do:  

• Audit, migrate, and create engaging digital content for our new website structure. 

• Build and test webpages in our CMS, ensuring accuracy and quality. 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to agree streamlined content structures. 

• Analyse performance using tools like Google Analytics and optimise content accordingly. 

• Contribute to an agile, fast-paced project introducing new functionality and design. 

What we’re looking for: 

• Proven experience as a Content Editor or similar role for public-facing websites. 

• Strong copywriting skills and experience writing for diverse audiences. 

• Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and best practices for web content. 

• Experience working in brand-controlled environments and large-scale content projects. 

• Degree or equivalent experience. 

Desirable: 

• Familiarity with CMS platforms and Google Analytics. 

• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
