The Department of Music seeks a qualified University Teacher whose expertise cover Music Technology, including aspects of sound recording, production, and live sound.
The Department welcomes a large number of students to its BA Music and Technology programme each year; students on other Music department programmes, which include the BSc Game Design, can choose Music Technology options as part of their creative, practical and academic studies.
Music Technology is also studied on MRes and PhD programmes and is an important part of the department’s research environment. Teaching takes place in our extensive departmental facilities, as well as in the Tung Auditorium, an acoustically optimised concert venue in the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre.

The role is part-time with a start date of the 1 December, with classroom and wider duties requiring presence on campus on three days per week during the two main teaching periods (mid-September until mid-May), and with hybrid working possible during the summer when duties will be lighter and equivalent to 1-2 days per week.
