This is an exciting opportunity to deliver Library services as part of the Student Service Centre, part of the new Student and Campus Life service. 

In our Student Service Centre we help students navigate their whole journey, providing a coherent route and common experience for all student enquiries.  Offering information and access to services covering all aspects of student life; from academic and learning resources to financial, physical and mental wellbeing through to residential and all other aspects of student life.

We are seeking to appoint an Enquiry and Disability Support Librarian.  Working as part of a team of Enquiry and Disability Support Librarians, led by the Enquiry and Disability Services Librarian, you will provide direct enquiry support for a diverse range of library users both online and in person. 

Your role will also be vital in building relationships with other colleagues and services at the University, sharing information and ensuring that our students have the best possible journey during their time at university.

  • with experience of managing and supervising staff and collaborating with others
  • who has experience of working in a library environment
  • with excellent IT skills and experience of email, MS Office applications and other digital tools

  • passionate about delivering inclusive support and ensuring that our students get the best out of university

Where is this role based?

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.  You would also work regularly at our City Campus and our Glenside Campus.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, this role is therefore campus based for at least 80 percent of your time.
