Are you an HCPC registered practitioner psychologist, with Chartered Status, wishing to contribute to best practice working in academia with doctoral students, who is also an experienced practice supervisor?
Are you interested in supporting students on the first stage of a professional doctorate to work towards registration with their regulatory body?
Birkbeck, University of London, is looking for a part time member to join the Faculty of Business and Law, and support the team leading the Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology programme, as well as the work-based learning of our students.
This post is offered on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours a week) contract with a salary of £22,124 rising to £30,429 per year.
Duties will involve liaising with our accrediting and regulatory bodies to ensure that trainees have safe placement experiences, coordinating and delivering workshops, seminars and lectures on dedicated weekends to support learning, marking work-based practice portfolios as well as overseeing the wider team of practice supervisors.
It is essential that you are registered with the HCPC and chartered with the BPS, and an experienced supervisor. The ideal candidate will hold a professional doctorate and have prior experience of working on such a programme.

Actual £22,124 rising to £30,429 per year, (pro-rated £44,247 to £60,858 per annum FTE), Grade LLEC on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.
