Research Assistant/Associate

This post is full time and fixed term for up to 6 months

Please note that as a condition of the funding underpinning this post, applicants must have recently (in the last 12 months) completed an EPSRC-funded doctoral programme or have been recently funded through EPSRC-leveraged initiatives (e.g. UKRI AI Centres for Doctoral Training or Prosperity Partnerships).

The School of Mathematics and Statistics is looking for a Research Assistant / Associate to make a contribution / leading contribution to the project “Digital models of anti-arrhythmic drugs” working with Prof Radostin Simitev and Prof Godfrey Smith.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

To be considered for an appointment at Grade 7, you must be able to perform the duties as listed for a Research Assistant position with a higher degree of independence, leadership, and responsibility, particularly in relation to planning, funding, collaborating and publishing research, and mentoring colleagues.
