The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 570 years, and today we are one of the world's top 100 universities. We are delighted to have recently been awarded Scottish University of the Year by the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024.
Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join the team on a full time basis. You will contribute to a project that aims to link cellular metabolism and energy production to performance outcomes (growth, behaviour, lifespan) working with Dr. Neal J. Dawson (Principal investigator, based in the School of Biodiversity, One Health & Veterinary Medicine).
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
