Senior Product and Engagement Lead

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

This role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and delivery of a platform for hundreds of thousands of organisations to access carbon accounting metrics, scenario data, qualitative insights on sustainable consumption and production and other project outputs from the Production and Consumption Transformations (PACT) Centre. You will be the public face of the PACT Centre jointly funded by UKRI and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). You will be responsible for ensuring the longevity of the platform beyond the life of the centre working with the Director to ensure a long-term funding model. You will form a key part of the management team for the centre, leading impact facing delivery.

You will act as the key advocate for the PACT Platform and for best content practices across the University and you will be accountable for continually enhancing the delivery of our public facing content, to a wide array of diverse audiences. You will also manage the impact strategy of the PACT Centre and be responsible for delivering an ambitious programme of engagement with a range of stakeholders. This will require delivering for a variety of audiences including our funders in Government departments, businesses, and non-governmental organisations.  

You will join a team with a strong history of applied research in the areas of production and consumption. You will have experience both in the delivery and management of platforms and the development of communication and engagement strategies. You will have a strong background in communicating evidence and insights to multiple stakeholders. You will have worked with researchers to translate often complex analysis into actionable insights. You will have previously delivered and managed a digital platform with the intention of reaching wide audiences.
