UCL Mechanical Engineering has been shaping engineering education for over 170 years. We were the first UK institution to appoint a Professor of Mechanical Principles and pioneered practical lab training in university curricula. About the Role
This teaching-focused role supports our undergraduate Mechanical Engineering programmes, with future involvement in postgraduate taught programmes. We are seeking candidates with expertise in one of two core streams:

You will contribute to modules across all levels—from introductory (Years 1–2) to specialist (Years 3–4 and MSc)—and lead teaching sessions, workshops, and lab activities. You’ll also participate in outreach, curriculum development, and the creation of learning materials, while monitoring student progress and engagement.
