An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Education and Lifelong Learning (https://www.uea.ac.uk/about/school-of-education-and-lifelong-learning). In this role, you will contribute to teaching across our undergraduate programmes—the BA Education cluster and the BSc Physical Education, Sport and Health (PESH) cluster—while also supervising students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The post will also include course leadership responsibilities within the BA Education cluster. 

Based on our vibrant campus, you will benefit from close links with outstanding educational and sporting facilities, including the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and the UEA Sportspark. You will be joining a thriving academic community whose research spans sociology, psychology, language and linguistics, art, mathematics, educational leadership, media, Sport Development, Physical Activity and Health and Physical Education.  

You will have substantial teaching experience in higher education, and a proven ability to embed the latest research and scholarship into your teaching in Education and/or Physical Education. Leadership experience in higher education or a comparable setting would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available from 1 January 2026 on an indefinite basis.
