An exciting opportunity exists to manage a KTP between the highly regarded Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick, and Shaftec Automotive Components Limited, a company remanufacturing car parts for light commercial and passenger vehicles, serving both the UK and European markets. The company, based in Hockley, Birmingham - focuses on Driveshafts, Steering products and Brake Calipers.

About You
The Associate will work closely with the Shaftec EPS team as well as receiving support and guidance from academics from the University of Warwick’s Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD) group within WMG.
You will be a self-starter and start solving real-world problems from day one. You will be educated to PhD or post-graduate level in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation, Control Engineering or a similar scientific discipline, with competencies in power electronics, electric machines and control.
