The School
The School of Human and Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary school that empowers and equips students to shape a sustainable, just and healthy society. The School has recently expanded its disciplinary coverage and now delivers a portfolio of education, research and enterprise activity across psychology, sports and exercise sciences, criminology, education & early years, forensic science, nutritional therapy, and politics & international relations. The University is committed to the continued growth of the School of Human and Social Sciences with recent investments in portfolio developments, new equipment and staff.
The Role To support our exciting development and growth aspirations for education, we are looking to strengthen our academic team through the appointment of candidates with suitable qualifications and experience. We welcome applications from highly motivated individuals to contribute to our current courses, BA (Hons) Education Studies and BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies, working within an innovative and supportive team at the University of West London. We are seeking an experienced practitioner with a strong background in early years/primary school settings to contribute to research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and external engagement, as well as student support and course and curriculum development and delivery.

The Person
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced practitioner with a strong background in early years/primary school settings. Candidates should have experience of, or expertise in, SEND. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and deliver taught modules, supervise UG dissertations and strengthen our research, knowledge exchange and enterprise profile through securing funding for and delivering projects, and disseminating findings through presentations and publications. The precise mix of duties and objectives will be determined on an individual basis in line with the needs of the school.
