Here at Sheffield Hallam University we’re looking for an analytics manager who blends excellent technical skills with an understanding of UX and content strategy.
Working in a pivotal role in our Digital Experience and Creative team, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers and marketers to help us deliver effective, user-friendly digital products and content.
You will contribute to every stage of the analytics life cycle, from developing measurement strategies, to data engineering and platform configuration, to visualisation and analysis. And you’ll ensure high data and service standards throughout, finding solutions that balance business need, regulatory compliance, cost and performance.
You are an analytics specialist with a keen eye for detail and a knack for turning complex data into actionable insights. You’re comfortable managing and interrogating large and varied data sets, and you also know how to communicate and work with digital product and marketing teams, including campaign managers, developers, content designers, business analysts and project managers.
We are looking for someone with:
Knowledge of Sitecore and Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be beneficial, as would experience in Higher Education.
The Recruitment, Communications and Marketing (RCM) directorate brings together teams responsible for student admissions and recruitment, student recruitment and corporate marketing, UX, creative, events, external engagement, and internal communications.
Together RCM aims to deliver an excellent customer-centred admissions and student recruitment service, supporting applicants from their initial enquiry to enrolment. We develop and implement the University's corporate and reputational brand strategy, campaigns, website, CRM system, content and social media strategies, provide professional news and PR, public affairs and corporate events service, and deliver strategic, cross-University employee and student communications.
We engage with schools, colleges, and community partners to widen our participation and outreach, lead our student recruitment operations such as clearing and open days, as well as support recruitment and drive conversion through high quality targeted marketing activity.
This role sits within Digital Experience and Creative, a collaborative team of web producers, UX specialists, content designers, graphic designers and videographers that gives expert advice and support across RCM.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
