Background
The successful candidate will work in the team of Dr Kyriaki Giorgakoudi, within the Department of Global, Public & Population Health & Policy, School of Health and Medical Sciences. The postholder will contribute to the successful partnership between City St George’s and the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at The Royal Marsden and the Institute of Cancer Research. They will also work on infectious disease models, in consultation with policy makers.
Responsibilities
The Research Fellow will lead economic evaluation analysis, develop funding applications and contribute to data collection and management. They will liaise with stakeholders including policy makers, prepare reports and, train and manage the work of Research Assistants in the team.
Person Specification
We are seeking a Research Fellow with strong quantitative skills and an interest in health economic evaluation research. A PhD in health economics, economic evaluation, mathematical modelling, operational research, statistics or related field with a strong quantitative component is expected.
