About the Role
To teach a variety of Engineering modules on the engineering HNC’s, HND’s and degree courses, which are delivered at our Mansfield Hub. This will involve the development of course materials, assessments, and marking. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the wider work of the Hub by participating in outreach events, industry engagement, and other related duties. Additionally, the role will require involvement in the future development of engineering and wider STEM provision at the Mansfield Hub. Knowledge and experience of delivering and developing HNCs, HNDs, and other flexible provision would be advantageous.

The Mansfield HUB is an exciting development by NTU in Mansfield. Working with Vision West Nottinghamshire College, NTU has a state of the art Higher Education Centre, which delivers a range of HE courses including Nursing, Engineering, Construction and Business. The HUB provides access to HE for a wide range of students from the Mansfield and Ashfield areas and further away. Provision is specifically designed to allow access to HE for none traditional learners with an emphasis on flexibility and availability of provision.
The HNC, HND and degree courses in Engineering are a key element of the Mansfield HUB’s portfolio and are supported by a £600k investment in facilities for these courses including a new engineering lab.
