Birmingham City University is a large, vibrant and culturally rich higher education provider based in the heart of the city. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a fulltime Lecturer on our BA (Hons) Photography course, within the Department of English & Media
Ranked as the number one photography degree course in the UK for two years running (Guardian League Tables, 2024 & 25), the course is growing rapidly, built upon a rich blend of practice and theory, and a strong focus on employability. The course embraces diverse approaches to photography, encompassing a wide range of genres and empowering student-led approaches to their practice.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Photography who is visionary, with both creative and technical expertise. Previous teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.
