Oxford Lifelong Learning (Oxford University Department for Continuing Education) is seeking to appoint a Director of the Short Online Course Programme
About the role
The postholder will direct the Short Online Course programme, a large and regularly-updated portfolio of open access, accredited 10-week courses, taught in asynchronous (flexible) and synchronous (live) formats, mostly at FHEQ level 4. This programme contributes to an undergraduate award-bearing course, the Certificate of Higher Education.
The postholder will be an expert in digital education and online learning and, as a Departmental Lecturer, teach within the Department’s current or future provision. They will be part of the academic community and engage in advanced scholarship.
This is a full-time position, available on a permanent contract.

We are seeking a scholar with a strong background in digital education, who has excellent administrative, teaching and pedagogical skills, and a track-record of scholarship that engages with current critical and theoretical debates.
