Our dedicated Lecturer (Teaching) team are subject specialists focused on delivering student education, which is active, social, applied, and inclusive within our vibrant and varied education environment.

The Role

The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and care settings inclusive of nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practitioners, diagnostic radiography, podiatry, clinical pyschology and public health. 

As a Lecturer (Teaching) in Nursing will involve teaching, course coordination, and supporting nursing program development. We're seeking an NMC Adult Registered Nurse with critical care expertise and a relevant postgraduate qualification to enhance teaching and student support across our nursing portfolio.

Duties include:

• Support design and delivery of nursing curriculums (undergraduate and postgraduate), both on campus and online
• Lead and teach modules (HE levels 4–7), including creating learning materials, assessments, and feedback aligned with quality standards
• Provide coaching and mentorship to students
• Maintain high academic integrity in teaching and assessment
• Current and active NMC Nursing registration required
• Must be willing and able to travel to other campuses and partner sites

Qualifications Required

• Current and active NMC Adult Nursing registration required
• Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one required
• Postgraduate qualification in adult critical care (or equivalent) required
