This part-time (0.7FTE) post is available from 05/01/2026 on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave until 08/01/2027
This position could be an opportunity for an internal secondment, with approval from your current line manager.
Summary of the role
The post holder will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Immigration Compliance Team, working with the Immigraton Compliance Team Leader to ensure that compliance processes are managed effectively and that they support a positive international applicant and student experience. With a particular focus on the university’s attendance and engagement monitoring process, the post holder will have an eye for improving how we deliver our service, and will need to be able to interpret and implement the requirements of the Home Office’s Student Sponsor guidance to both policy and process and individual student cases. The post holder will also play an active role in the services’s leadership team.
