The Deputy Academic Registrar (Partnerships) is responsible for overseeing and assuring the work of the Collaborative Provision Unit within the University’s Academic Registry. Reporting to the Academic Registrar, the postholder will be a senior member of the Academic Registry. The role will also involve working with the Deputy Vice Chancellors and the University Secretary around a range of academic partnerships matters including compliance, regulation and Office for Students (OfS) conditions of registration.
Applicants must have knowledge and experience of managing Collaborative Partnerships in Higher Education (Franchise and Validation partners) and of HE regulatory and governmental requirements and major policy issues in the sector. Knowledge of QAA Advice and Guidance, OfS conditions of registration, and legal issues which affect Higher Education complaints and the OIA is also essential.
