Job Summary – The University of Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is seeking two graduate level Clinical Trials Data Management Support Officers. You will become a welcome member of the experienced and multidisciplinary ExeCTU team, working together with researchers and clinicians to address important health questions through the design and delivery of high-quality and efficient multi-centre clinical trials and other well-designed studies. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and is for full time hours (36.5 a week). This post is available for an immediate start for 12 months in the first instance and is available on a full-time basis. About You – You should be a graduate who has good written and verbal communication skills, computer literate – familiar with MS Office software, good analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. You should have the ability to maintain accurate records, to organise and prioritise own workloads taking into account the requirements of competing tasks and deadlines, and the ability to liaise with colleagues. You should be able to actively participate as a member of a research team, understand equal opportunity issues as they may impact on areas of research content, and have an understanding of the importance of equality and diversity within an organisation and a commitment to helping create an inclusive culture. You should also have analytical skills commensurate with an undergraduate degree with a strong quantitative component. Familiarity with REDCap or other online data capture tools, and with statistical software packages, e.g. R, Stata are desirable.
