We are looking for an enthusiastic image analyst with suitable technical expertise to support an exciting research programme focused on the development and validation of novel technologies for the non-invasive detection of coronary inflammation and vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques, as well as coordinate other related projects and Core Lab processes supported by the Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Interventional Centre (AMIIC) Core Laboratory (Core Lab).
You will be the primary technical lead within the lab, ensuring that all CTCA analyses adhere to relevant scientific and regulatory standards. This exciting role includes troubleshooting complex imaging cases, guiding junior analysts, and maintaining consistency in image interpretation across projects.
You will report to Professor Charalambos Antoniades, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team of clinical cardiologists, clinician scientists, radiologists, radiographers, IT staff and software engineers.
This appointment is funded by the Oxford BRC Imaging Theme, and may be offered as a full-time or part-time bases on a fixed-term contract until March 2028, with further extension subject to funding. You will be based at RDM Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU.
