About the role
This role will be a senior institutional lead for developing and implementing a King’s approach to ensuring staff are supported in embedding AI appropriately in their teaching and assessment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with appropriate experience for the post of Senior Lecturer on the King’s Academic Education Pathway (AEP) with a focus on the use of AI in Higher Education.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to develop in a leadership role, and who wish to utilise their skills and expertise in AI best practice. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in policy and strategy development in key areas such academic integrity and the use of AI, opportunities to improve practice through the ethical use of AI and horizon scanning to ensure King’s stays at the forefront of AI best practice.

The role is primarily based at King’s JCMB Campus though you will be required to travel to other campuses on occasion. As part of King’s hybrid working policy, all team members are expected to work on campus for 40-60% of their time. At King’s Academy there is an expectation to be on campus 60% of the time, and we would be happy to consider flexible working arrangements should this be required.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) post, offered on an indefinite Academic Education Pathway contract.
