About the role
We are seeking a Research Technician to play a key role in a new gut hormone receptor drug discovery programme. Gut hormones regulate many metabolic processes, and there is great interest in exploiting their effects therapeutically.
What you would be doing
The successful applicant will join a thriving and world-leading group engaged in making and applying scientific discoveries in the gut hormone field with the ultimate aim of improving human health. You will play a key role in the in vivo and in vitro testing of new gut hormone analogues designed by the group.
What we are looking for
You will need to have a degree with a strong focus on G protein-coupled receptor pharmacology/biology and experience of in vivo pharmacology work in a related area. Below are a few of the essential skills and knowledge required but the full person specifications are on the job description.
