Job purpose
The University of Bradford International College (UBIC) is an established partnership between the University of Bradford and Oxford International Education Group.
The College provides international students with pathways to a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Bradford, and we expect to see around 400 students enrolled on our courses in 2025-26. We are currently expanding the range of courses on offer and looking to build on our success to date in providing students with a supportive, engaging and effective learning experience.
To continue to improve the quality of our courses and support the development of our staff, we are recruiting a suitably qualified and experienced Core Subject Lead for Business and Management. As one of three Core Subject Leads and a member of the wider academic management team, you will work closely with Programme Leads and Tutors to improve key performance metrics (pass rates, progression rates and student satisfaction scores) across our four programmes.
You will have substantial relevant experience, the knowledge and skills to teach on a range of modules within the Business and Management portfolio and the professional confidence and inter-personal skills needed to support the development of colleagues involved in delivering Business and Management modules.
Located within the University of Bradford’s city-centre campus, the College has a diverse student community and a team of teaching and non-teaching staff committed to helping them succeed and achieve their academic and longer-term career goals. If you have the right mix of professional and personal attributes to make a positive contribution in this role, we look forward to receiving your application.
Please note that shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a pre-interview lesson-planning task.
