Are you a science graduate with hands-on experience in human cell culture and a passion for supporting impactful research? We have an exciting opportunity at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) for someone looking to build a career in neurodegeneration research and drug discovery.
You’ll join a collaborative team working on a cutting-edge project exploring the potential of Janus Kinase inhibitors (Jakinibs) as treatments for Motor Neurone Disease (MND/ALS). This role focuses on in vitro models, supporting experiments using astrocyte-neuron co-cultures and iPSC-derived motor neurons to uncover mechanisms of neuroprotection.
