The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care alongside a large portfolio of CPD courses.
The Role
As Assistant Lecturer in Adult Nursing you will undertake teaching and assessments across our Nursing course portfolio, supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs, ensuring students have an effective learning experience.
Based within the School of Health and Care you will work closely with colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.

Our Successful Candidate
Our successful candidate will demonstrate experience of successful teaching, supervsion and assessment of Adult Nursing learners either within higher education levels 4-7 or within clinical practice, demonstrating high standards of teaching, learning and student engagement.
You will have a passion for sharing knowledge and supporting students in their learning journey, both in clinical practice and in the classroom, with the ability to work flexibly to meet learner needs.
You will have an active working knowledge of how Adult Nursing students are assessed in clinical practice in addition to an understanding of the NMC Standards of Proficiency for Nursing.
