We are currently seeking an Asset Store Technican, who will support the management and day-to-day operations of the university's busy Asset Store primarily at the Newton Park and Locksbrook Road campuses, which loans an extensive range of technical equipment to a wide variety of students and staff across various University campuses.
About the Role
This role consists of the management and maintenance of the equipment and you will provide detailed reports on the depreciation and procurement of equipment. You will also provide technical support to teaching and demonstration activities and to events and productions as required, across Schools Technical Services, whilst supporting the broader and deeper utilisation of facilities and cross-disciplinary working.
You will have an up-to-date and broad knowledge of equipment and techniques used in a university setting. A relevant qualification in a specialist area, TV, Lighting, Sound, Music, Photography is required. You will have an ability to maintain specialist equipment.
A knowledge of Health and Safety and First Aid is desirable, but training is available. This is a customer facing role so you will need to be open and welcoming and have a proactive, professional attitude and good problem-solving skills.

Salary Grade 5 - Starting from £29,588 rising to £33,002 per annum
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Location - Primarily at Newton Park and Locksbrook Road campuses in Bath but may sometimes be required to support other campuses as operationally relevant
