Main duties and responsibilities
This role will require you to support the development and delivery of effective multi-channel conversion strategies and communications to enhance the experience of international applicants from initial enquiry to enrolment, to meet strategic objectives, and support the wider international team to meet sales targets. You will support the Conversion and Applicant Experience Team Leader in developing and maintaining conversion plans, with the primary focus on conversion through emails, outbound calls and social platforms.
You must develop an excellent working knowledge of admission entry requirements and University USPs across all markets and provide excellent customer service to students, agents, partners and other stakeholders. You must support and task manage junior colleagues and those supporting conversion, developing their capability. You will be expected to implement conversion plans across all markets, supporting regional strategies and the overall international office conversion strategy and develop and maintain a knowledge of UK immigration policy.
Skills and experience required
You will have a proven track record of successfully working in a comparable international education or customer focused role and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding conversion and sales targets. Exceptional experience in customer service, applicant engagement, and conversion activities ideally in a higher education or international recruitment context and familiarity with CRM or enquiry management systems is also essential.
You will be able to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure and be flexible in your approach. You will be capable of establishing relationships quickly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You must be personable with strong communications skills and have strong organisation and planning skills. You will have demonstrated ability to supervise or coordinate a team and be culturally sensitive with a good understanding of the international applicant journey.
Qualifications required
You must be educated with a minimum of a Degree or equivalent, or substantial proven experience.
