About The Role

This is a part-time, fixed-term position until 30 June 2026. This role requires a minimum of 75% on-campus working e.g. 3 days; however you are required to be 100% on-campus during training.

The department is recruiting an Assistant to be the first point of contact for students and visitors who contact the Wellbeing and Disability Service.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and efficient Assistant to work as part of the Wellbeing and Disability support team, providing a first point of contact for the diverse range of students and visitors accessing the service as well as carrying out a wide range of administrative duties.

Applicants must be self-motivated, proactive and highly organised, with excellent IT skills. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the support team and wider service. Due to the sensitive nature of information disclosed, a high level of confidentiality is also required.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
