About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team, with responsibility for dissecting the role of Fat protocadherins in cancer evolution.

The Lu lab is interested in the mechanism by which cancers' karyotypes mutate and evolve in the body and become resistant to therapy, with the aim of finding new ways to treat cancer more effectively. Using the data from the lung TRACERx consortium (Jamal-Hanjani et al NEJM 2017; Frankell et al Nature 2023) we have recently experimentally dissected how tumour evolution can be exacerbated by clonal driver alteration, through the combination of whole-genome doubling and chromosomal.
