The Department of Biology is seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate for 24 months. This post is financially supported by the UKRI through the Frontier Guarantee Programme to Dr Jani R Bolla. The work is to be conducted in his lab in the Department of Biology, University of Oxford, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3EL. The postholder will support ongoing research aimed at unravelling the molecular architecture of the chloroplast’s beta-barrel protein assembly machinery using structural tools.
The successful candidate will have a PhD with relevant experience in protein biochemistry and structural biology, specifically cryo-EM/ET and will work closely with other group members to assist them with structural analysis of plant protein complexes. They must work as part of a team, be willing to learn new methods and skills and have excellent communication skills. See the job description for the full list of selection criteria.
