The Director of Enterprise Systems is a senior leadership position within the Information Services Directorate at the University of Glasgow. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the successful candidate will lead a team of technology professionals to deliver enterprise systems designed to meet the complete business needs of a world leading University. The role will require strong leadership capability, working across institutional boundaries to underpin the successful delivery of our strategic business objectives and future ambitions.
You will play a fundamental role in overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the University’s enterprise systems. This role ensures that all enterprise systems align with the organisation’s goals and objectives, driving efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage.
As a member of the IT Services management team, you will be expected to play a full role in the management of the Directorate including developing the capabilities of our staff, and in supporting a positive work culture. You will deputise for the Director of IT as necessary.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively and influence across institutional boundaries linking across to key directorates such as Finance, External Relations, People & Organisational Development, Research & Innovation Services, Transformation, PIA, Estates, and Colleges.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis. Relocation expenses will be provided where appropriate.
