Applied Scientist – AI & Optimisation (KTP Associate, Fixed - Term)

About the Role 

We are seeking an Applied Scientist to lead research and development at the intersection of AI, data science, and optimisation. Whilst you will be employed by the University, you will be embedded on a full-time secondment into within Nourish Care, offering you a unique opportunity to conduct research that directly shapes commercial outcomes. Nourish Care is a fast growing, UK technology company developing and providing innovating, market-leading digital health and care management software platforms.

Your Profile: 

• Strong background in AI/ML and optimisation.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML libraries.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt. 
• Experience with commercial platforms would be advantageous.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. 
• Good project management skills and the ability to navigate technical and resource challenges.

Location: 

You’ll be employed by Bournemouth University but will primarily work within Nourish Care Systems in Bournemouth.

This role is available fixed-term for a period of 26 months.
