Fixed term for 3 years
Applications are invited for two Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Pure Mathematics at the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. The proposed start date is September 2026, other dates can be agreed.
The successful candidate should show very considerable promise in research, and would normally have a PhD by the time of taking up the fellowship. The Fellow will be able to focus on research throughout the fellowship. They will also have the opportunity to teach (but there is no requirement to do so).
The Fellow will be associated to one of our existing research themes and will be supported by an academic mentor.
