We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join the University’s award-winning and ambitious Marketing, Communications, and Student Recruitment department. Reporting to the Marketing Manager (Postgraduate, Research, and International), the Marketing Officer will play a key role in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of high-impact marketing campaigns and recruitment activity that support the University’s recruitment strategy and targets.
This varied role involves working across multiple channels and media, with a strong focus on student-centred marketing communications. You will contribute to the development and management of recruitment campaigns that maximise engagement and drive traffic to our web pages, develop customer journeys that integrate with the University’s CRM system, work with colleagues to produce compelling, high-performing content, and monitor and report on marketing performance to inform future activity.
You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, and Student Recruitment and build strong relationships with academic schools.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent education, training, or work-based roles involving English or Marketing content, you will have proven expertise in developing and delivering effective marketing and communications plans. Alongside this, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven marketing professional to make an impact in a professional and supportive environment.
We offer an excellent employment package, including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging.
