We are looking to appoint a HR Shared Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Employment Support Services team. This is customer focused role and your main responsibilities will be day to day transactional and advisory support to all staff across numerous HR activities; this will include dealing with customers over the phone and via email. 

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate your high levels of attention to detail and accuracy and have experience in a data entry or administrative role. You will need to be resilient and comfortable working with high volume requests, as well as being adaptable and a good problem solver, actively looking for opportunities to improve our service for customers and our processes. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain HR experience, covering the full employee life cycle; from inducting new hires to processing leavers, while navigating your career in HR.

You will need to have GCSEs in English and Math (C/4 or above) or equivalent.  

This is a permanent, full time post (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share would be considered.

This role is based in the Human Resources Department on Kings Meadow Campus and will be offered on a hybrid basis with a blended approach of home and office working. Typically, you will work 2 – 3 days per week on campus.
