We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced project manager capable of bringing systems engineering approaches to health services delivery. RESHAPE-CARE is a multi-million pound research and innovation hub to transform the delivery of healthcare for people with multiple long term conditions. It combines advanced data analytics, development of “digital twin” computer models, and working with healthcare services and users. It will embed personalised care into services to realise the aims of improving health, patient experience and system efficiency. RESHAPE-CARE is a partnership between health and engineering and between the Universities of Sheffield and Manchester. Both are world-leading universities in these fields. The project is jointly led by Professor Visakan Kadirkamanathan (engineering) and Professor Chris Burton (health) We are looking for a project manager who enjoys working with experts from different disciplines and thrives on managing complexity. We are an established interdisciplinary group that has been working towards this for 2 years. As we launch the full innovation hub, we want you to be a key member of the team as we step up to the next level. You will have a background in engineering or a related discipline and an ability to work with other disciplines. You will share our commitment to fairness, so that changes in health services benefit the most disadvantaged in society.
This post offers an outstanding opportunity to develop your skills and experience working at the intersection between healthcare and engineering.
