The core team (the PI, two post-doctoral researchers, and the project coordinator) will be based in central Cambridge at the Henry Wellcome Building, Department of Archaeology, University of Cambridge. The team will work closely with a number of collaborators based in the UK and internationally.

Applicants should have excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills (MS Office Suite, Teams), and excellent written and oral communication skills, alongside an interest in human evolution. In addition, the successful candidate will carry out HR and payroll administration, provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator and project team members, assist with accurate transcription and organisation of research data, and contribute to the smooth running of the wider project team.
The role holder will ensure that the project is administered according to the terms and conditions of the sponsor and in accordance with Research Office and University regulations; they will assist the PI and project team in all aspects of project management, thereby enabling the project to reach its full potential.
