Showcase your talents as part of our vibrant Greater Manchester campus community. At the University of Greater Manchester, we’re committed to delivering a rewarding experience for all our students, characterised by greater prospects, greater connections and greater support.
We are driven by consistently high student satisfaction ratings and our innovative approach to teaching – the ‘Greater Manchester Way’ – delivers distinctive, inclusive, and career-focused learning for every student.
As an Admissions Team Leader, you’ll take a leading role in delivering an efficient, high-quality admissions service for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants across home, EU, and international markets. You’ll oversee the day-to-day work of the Admissions Team, delegating workloads, setting processing targets, and ensuring that applicants receive a professional, timely and supportive admissions experience from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
You’ll act as the first point of escalation for complex cases, making informed admissions decisions, guiding colleagues through policy interpretation, and ensuring compliance with UCAS, QAA, UKVI and the University’s Admissions Policy. You’ll also support the operational delivery of major recruitment periods, including Confirmation and Clearing, and contribute to service improvements through data analysis, workflow reviews, and process development.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering a sector-leading admissions experience. You’ll be confident managing people and processes, working collaboratively across teams and departments, and using data to support decision-making. Experience with international admissions, UKVI compliance or CAS issuance would be particularly beneficial.
If you’re a proactive and motivated professional who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high-quality applicant journey, we’d love to hear from you.
Successful applicants will be required to prove their right to work in the UK prior to the commencement of their employment.
