What we’re looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to make a contribution to the academic work of the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team delivering our GPhC-accredited MPharm course and help shape the future of pharmacy education.
As a UK-registered healthcare practitioner in a discipline relevant to Clinical Pharmacy, Prescribing, or Clinical Skills, you will bring a strong foundation in clinical practice alongside an honours degree and a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience). You will have experience teaching at undergraduate level or delivering professional training and be confident in engaging students through lectures, tutorials, and seminars at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ability to supervise postgraduate students and contribute to curriculum development is essential.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching materials and associated assessment activities, while playing an active part in planning, designing, and developing modules and programmes. You will also engage in scholarship, research, and professional knowledge exchange activities, and contribute to the administrative duties that support the smooth running of our school.
This is a key moment to join a welcoming, ambitious, and research-informed university community that places students at the heart of everything we do. We value and invest in our staff, offering meaningful opportunities for professional development, scholarship support, and clear internal promotion routes.
