We are investing in our academic provision, seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Product Design and 3D Design, within Leeds School of Arts. An MA is essential, and we are inviting applications from academics with HE teaching experience in Product Design and 3D Design, along with industry experience. Such experience would include, for example, design research, product development, digital and physical product prototyping, making and testing, and communication of product design outcomes to the intended audiences.
The candidate will be an inspiring, enthusiastic, and experienced academic, keen to influence, and make a key contribution to the delivery and development of our dynamic provision through teaching. The successful candidate will also provide module leadership and contribute to the delivery of the BA Product Design and MA 3D Design programmes.
With industry relevance and a collaborative ethos at the core of our teaching, we equip our graduates with a diverse industry-ready skill set, along with a solid understanding of the cultural, ethical, and environmental concerns inherent within the product design industry, preparing them well for the broad range of careers and entrepreneurial opportunities available in product design and 3D design.
