An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Built Environment Project team for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a variety of construction and refurbishment projects ranging from £50k to £5m across our diverse estate. The postholder will also take the lead on the practical delivery of our carbon reduction projects to include the provision of ‘Arm’s Length’ support to our Third-Party Energy Partner who will be delivering several major, construction biased, infrastructure projects on our behalf to ensure that they meet our exacting standards.
Role & Responsibilities:
Working for the Head of Built Environment Projects, you’ll be tasked with developing client briefs, appointing specialist consultants and contractors to support the delivery of the varied portfolio of projects currently under the control of the Estates and Facilities Department.
Whilst the post holder will take full responsibility for the delivery of their projects they will be supported by an experienced team delivering capital development, maintenance and sustainability led projects. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with an expectation that the postholder will be on campus for a minimum of 3 days per week.
