About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Law for Accounting. In this teaching-focused role, you will contribute to the delivery and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, both in person and via distance learning. You will play a key part in maintaining the School’s reputation for excellence by engaging in high-quality teaching, scholarship, and administrative duties.
You will be responsible for teaching mainstream accounting modules, supervising dissertations, and supporting curriculum development. The role also involves contributing to the School’s teaching quality assurance standards and engaging in professional development activities.
About you
You will have recognised expertise in law for accounting, with recent experience of delivering modules in these areas. A PhD and/or membership of a relevant professional body such as ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA is essential. You will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and mentor students.
Desirable attributes include experience in postgraduate dissertation supervision, familiarity with distance learning provision, and practical experience in the accounting profession.
