Job description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Academic Programmes Office in two new posts focused on ensuring that the policies, systems and processes underpinning assessment and progression activities are efficient and effective.
Reporting to the Assessment and Progression Manager, the postholders will contribute to key assessment initiatives designed to assure the quality of assessment practices across the University and improve the student and staff experience. This will include the review of the University’s policies and regulations relating to assessment and progression, analysis of current position and best practice within the sector, and development of processes, support and guidance.
We are looking for experience of working with regulations, policies and processes, confidence in managing and manipulating data and effective communication skills, with ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible format to a wide group of stakeholders. This role would particularly suit those who work in an agile manner in a small team but who have the ability to lead on defined areas of responsibility.
Our diverse community of staff and students recognises the unique abilities, backgrounds, and beliefs of all. We foster a culture where everyone feels they belong and is respected. Even if your past experience doesn't match perfectly with this role's criteria, your contribution is valuable, and we encourage you to apply. Please ensure that you reference the application criteria in the application statement when you apply.
