About the role
We are seeking two Teaching Fellows in Accounting or Finance to join the University of Leicester School of Business. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching across established programmes, supporting both campus-based and distance learning students. You will design and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and online sessions, provide constructive feedback, and offer pastoral support to ensure an excellent student experience.
You will also play an active role in curriculum development, module design, and the enhancement of teaching methods within a research-led environment. Participation in School meetings, committees, and professional development activities will be integral to your contribution to the academic community.
About you
You will hold a PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, and ideally have or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCAP or HE Academy membership. A proven ability to design and deliver course materials, communicate complex information clearly, and inspire students is essential.
You will be committed to high-quality teaching and demonstrate strong IT skills, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with innovative teaching technologies and a passion for supporting diverse learners will help you thrive in this role.
