The post holder will work on the PEACE-Air project - a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) - to address air quality and associated public health challenges across the island of Ireland. The focus of the role will be on quantitative analysis of air pollution, health, demographic and socio-economic data, together with primary data collection on residential indoor air pollution via a household survey and associated air quality monitoring pilot study in selected areas of Northern Ireland. Active engagement and dissemination with policy and community stakeholders at all stages will be an important aspect of the position. The post holder will also work closely with other team members within the Business School and across the wider PEACE-Air consortium.

This post is available until February 2029, with an expected start date of no later than 1 March 2026. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
