Role Summary
We seek a Professor to lead the Business Management discipline, providing academic leadership, line management of staff, and strategic direction for curriculum and research. Reporting to the Academic Provost, the post-holder will shape teaching quality, programme development, and industry engagement while collaborating with Aberdeen-based School leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, delivery, assessment, and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Provide academic leadership, including staff mentoring, performance evaluation, and curriculum innovation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory quality standards.
- Promote research-informed teaching, pedagogical innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Engage with industry and external partners to enhance employability and internationalisation.
Candidate Requirements
- PhD in Business Management, Management Studies, or related field, with academic and/or industry experience.
- Proven excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership.
- Commitment to innovation, research, and continuous professional development.
