About the role
Applications are sought for a teaching lab technician to help manage and run technical support for the teaching labs within the physics department in the school of Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MPS) and for the school of Education and Social Work (ESW).
Most of the role will be dedicated to setting up and taking down experiments as we switch between different lab practicals throughout the week. The role is split evenly between the two schools, which share the same laboratory space.
About you
We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a laboratory setting, and willing to learn how to set up and maintain the equipment.
No prior experience is necessary, but familiarity with physics, biology, and chemistry laboratories at university level would be helpful.
