Main duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the comprehensive and effective administration of the Exceptional Circumstances, Fit to Sit, Fitness to Practice, Appeals and Academic Integrity processes and aid the development and constant improvement of processes of Exceptional Circumstances, Appeals and Academic Integrity within the University. The Administrator (Student Cases) will be responsible for the production, preparation and presentation of material for Assessment Panels and other meetings as appropriate, ensuring that all appropriate policies and procedures are adhered to. You will be accountable for the accuracy of the data entered into the student record system in order to ensure compliance with the University’s statutory duty.
Skills and experience required
You will have appropriate proven administrative experience in a complex and dynamic organisation. Experience of working within Higher Education administration would be advantageous. You will be flexible and adaptable to team and workload requirements, effective in a team setting and have a can-do attitude to problem solving. The ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines, a methodical approach and attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a variety of formats to different audiences is essential. You will be numerate and literate with good IT skills, including the use of MSOffice and databases and have the ability to deal with sensitive material with strict confidentiality.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with a minimum of A-levels or equivalent, or proven professional work experience.
